Tractor Run 2024 Fundraiser

On Friday March 15th, our school turned out in GREEN to give a big send off to the 24 Hour Extreme Tractor Run in conjunction with the Gerry Greene Memorial Tractor Run, to fundraise for our school. It was a very successful event
and we would like to thank most sincerely Michael and Ursula Green and their family for donating the proceeds of the tractor run, raffle and auction to our school!! Thanks to all the parents, as usual, who supported the raffle, donated on Go Fund Me and donated prizes. Please watch the video of some snippets of the "mini's, anything with a wheel run" that took place on the beautiful sunny Friday evening. A big thanks to all the guys from Dunmore Vintage Club for doing the 24 Hour Run and making it all happen.

All Ireland Senior c ladies final DCS

Good luck to the ladies from Dunmore Community School today in the All Ireland Senior C Final in Tubbercurry!!!
Our 4th to 6th class pupils waved them out of town in style!!

Ice cream memories

Today we had the ice cream visit our school. Thank you Mary O Mahony for organizing this treat for the children.
We have very fond memories of Mr O Mahony in our school and the one thing he liked most was to have the odd treat for the children. The ice cream van became part of our Sports week and sure he loved an ice cream himself! What a beautiful sunny afternoon. Smiley happy children.

Easter Egg Hunt April 2022

Junior and Senior Infants had an egg-cellent time hunting for eggs with our friends from 6th Class today! Thanks so much to the 6th Class girls who organised such a fun morning for the children, they had a fantastic time!
