We were very busy in the lead up to Halloween. We learned a poem called "Witch, witch" and listened to Halloween stories such as "Room on the Broom" and "Halloween Hustle". We also collaged pumpkins with orange and gold paper. Some children from 5th Class came in to help us with our art.
On Friday, we dressed up in costumes and played lots of fun games in school.
Nature Walks in School
In October, we went on nature walks in the school. We started by collecting leaves from the yard to use for Art. It was such a windy day that it was difficult to catch the leaves! 🍂🍃🍁
Then we went on a nature walk with Ms Watson. We looked for oak, horse chestnut and sycamore trees in the school grounds and gathered leaves from these trees.

Playtime
On Fridays, we go to the halla for our playtime. We can take out building blocks, the optician play centre and the kitchen to play with. It is our favourite playtime of the week!
