As part of our day trip to Coole Park, each member of fourth class was given the task of undertaking a project on a choosen animal/mammal. They also gave a presentation on what they learned at the end of project. Well done all!
Fourth Class enjoying a game of TIC TAC TOE. This is a game that involves short vigorous activity along with thinking skills.The children really enjoyed it! This year Dunmore Nation School has committed to take part in the Active School Initiative. This is a Department of Education and Skills initiative supported by Healthy Ireland which aims to get more schools, more active, more often. It it awarded to schools that strive to achieve a physically educated and physical active school community.
Keep an eye on the Active School tab on the website to keep up to date on the events we are participating in. Junior and Senior Infants participated in the first day of a Daily Mile Challenge today as part of our efforts to earn an Active Flag for our school.
Well done and thank you to all the children who participated in this year’s Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
