Our School Blog
All of our caterpillars have successfully made a chrysalis. They were transferred from the jar into the net yesterday. In 1-2 weeks they will hopefully emerge from their chrysalis as butterflies.
Our caterpillars have been getting bigger by the day! They have eaten plenty and they have become very active. They are very big now and have eaten most of their food. They are furry and now have some white markings. If you look at the last picture you can see one has made his way up to the lid of the jar so we should have a chrysalis soon!
Third class came to visit Senior Infants to help us celebrate World Book Day. They helped us read our favourite story and also read us some of their favourite books.
Senior Infants recently completed 6 weeks of Literacy Lift Off. The children all worked extremely hard and enjoyed our daily literacy sessions. Well done to the children and thanks to Ms McGreal, Mr Cronin and Ms Watson for all their help!
